การพัฒนาผลผลิตและคุณภาพมะขามหวานของเครือข่ายวิสาหกิจชุมชนมะขามหวานตามแนวเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ เป็นชุดโครงการวิจัยที่ประกอบด้วยโครงการวิจัย 4 โครงการ (1) การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีการเพิ่มผลผลิตมะขามหวานพันธุ์สีทองของกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชนบ้านตะเบาะ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ (2) การเพิ่มศักยภาพของเกษตรเพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพมะขามหวานตามแนวเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชนบ้านตะเบาะ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ (3) การบริหารแมลงศัตรูมะขามหวานตามแนวเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงของกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชนบ้านตะเบาะ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ และ (4) การเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการบริหารเงินทุนในการเพิ่มผลผลิตและประสิทธิภาพมะขามหวานของเครือข่ายวิสาหกิจชุมชน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์
ผลการทดลองพบว่า การเพิ่มผลผลิตมะขาหวานของภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น มีวิธีการที่ทำให้มะขามหวานติดฝักมากขึ้นคือ การตัดแต่งกิ่งให้โปร่ง ใส่ปูนขาว ใส่ปุ๋ยเคมีสูตร 8-24-24 ใส่ปุ๋ยคอกจากมูลไก่ ให้ปุ๋ยทางใบที่มีฟอสฟอรัสสูง ให้น้ำเมื่อฝนทิ้งช่วงในระยะออกดอก และฉีดพ่นสารเคมีเมื่อหนอนคืบระหุ่งระบาด การพัฒนาคุณภาพมะขามหวาน โดยการใส่ปุ๋ยเคมีร่วมกับปุ๋ยมูลสัตว์ การใส่ปุ๋ยมูลสัตว์เพียงอย่างเดียวและการใส่ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ให้ผลดีต่อคุณภาพน้ำหนักฝักและน้ำหนักเนื้อของมะขามหวาน อีกทั้งการใส่ปุ๋ยดีกว่าการไม่ใส่ปุ๋ย นอกจากนี้การใส่ปุ๋ยเคมีร่วมกับปูนขาวทำให้ฝักมะขามหวานสั้น ความกว้างและเส้นรอบวงของฝักมะขามหวานเล็กลง และมีแนวโน้มว่าการใส่มูลไก่ไข่ทำให้มะขามหวานมีความหวานสูงสุด การป้องกันการเข้าทำลายของแมลงในสวนมะขามหวานของกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชน พบว่า สมาชิกกลุ่มมีความรู้เพิ่มมากขึ้น ซึ่งสามารถตรวจพบแมลงศัตรูมะขามหวานและอธิบายการเข้าทำลายรวมถึงวิธีการป้องกันกำจัด และผลจากการวิจัยการบริหารแมลงศัตรูมะขามหวานศัตรูมะขามหวานตามแนวเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง พบว่า การใช้สมุนไพรที่เบื่อเมา คือ ไหลแดง กลอย หนอนตายหยาก ร่วมกับเผ็ดร้อน คือ ข่าบอระเพ็ด ฟ้าทะลายโจร ได้ผลดีที่สุดในการป้องกันกำจัดโรคและแมลงในช่วงที่ยังไม่เกิดการระบาด
แนวการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการบริหารเงินทุนเพิ่มคุณภาพผลผลิต พบว่า เมื่อสมาชิกมีความรู้ความเข้าใจในการทำบัญชีควบคุมเงินทุน กำหนดโครงการทางการเงิน และการเลือกใช้แหล่งเงินทุนแล้วร่วมกับการดำเนินการ ดังนี้ 1) กำหนดแบบบันทึกเกี่ยวกับการบริหารเงินทุนเพิ่มคุณภาพผลผลิต ได้แก่ แบบแผนการลงทุน แบบบันทึกการสำรวจเงินทุน แบบบันทึกโครงการทางการเงิน และแบบบันทึกบัญชีรายรัย-รายจ่ายการลงทุนเพิ่มคุณภาพผลผลิต 2) การประเมินและติดตามการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการบริหารเงินทุนเพิ่มคุณภาพผลผลิตมะขามหวาน โดยการสัมภาษณ์ และการให้รางวัล
