โลกยุคโลกาภิวัตน์ในปัจจุบันกำลังอยู่ในภาวการณ์เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว เศรษฐกิจ สังคม การเมืองระหว่างประเทศและวัฒนธรรมสมัยใหม่มีอิทธิพลเป็นอย่างมาก การสื่อสารมีพลังไร้พรมแดนเข้าถึงแม้แม้ในพื้นที่ห่างไกล ภาษาและวัฒนธรรมพื้นบ้านของ ชนกลุ่มเล็กกลุ่มน้อยอยู่ในภาวะอันตรายและเสี่ยงต่อการสูญสลาย สภาวการณ์เช่นนี้เป็นภัยคุกคามความหลากหลายทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชนต่างๆดังนี้โครงการวิจัยนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการศึกษาความหลากหลายทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ต่างๆ ดังนั้นโครงการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความหลากหลายทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชนต่างๆที่มาตั้งถิ่นฐานอยู่ในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ในลักษณะการเรียนรู้แบบพหุภาคี พร้อมกับจัดทำฐานข้อมูลความหลากหลายทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชนต่างๆที่มาตั้งถิ่นฐานอยู่ในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ โดยร่วมมือกับกลุ่มชนต่างๆที่มาตั้งถิ่นฐานอยู่ในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์โดยร่วมมือกับกลุ่มชนต่างๆที่มาตั้งถิ่นฐานดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อฟื้นฟูภาษาและวัฒนธรรมตามความพร้อมของแต่ละคนแต่ละชุมชม เสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถทักษะและเทคนิคในการจัดหาการความหลากหลายทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมของทุกหน่วยงานต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ เพื่อการอนุรักษ์และสืบสานความหลากหลายทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมตลอดจนอัตลักษณ์ของกลุ่มชนต่าง ๆ ในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์
 
จากผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มภาษาที่ใช้กันในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ประกอบด้วยกลุ่มภาษาถิ่นไทยกลาง กลุ่มภาษาถิ่นไทยอีสาน กลุ่มภาษาไทหล่ม กลุ่มภาษาจีน กลุ่มภาษาลาว ได้แก่ กลุ่มลาว พวน ลาวแง้ว ลาวครั่ง ภาษากลุ่มชาวบน และภาษากลุ่มชาวเขา ได้แก่ ภาษาม้ง ภาษาเย้า ภาษาลีซอ ภาษามูเซอ ภาษาจีนฮ่อ วัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างจากที่อื่นได้แก่ ประเพณีบุญข้าวจี่ ประเพณีบุญข้าวหลาม ประเพณีบุญกำฟ้า ประเพณีชาวลาวพวน ประเพณีกินข้าวใหม่ ประเพณีไส่กำไลคอ ประเพณีปีใหม่ ชองชาวเผ่าม้ง แนวทางการอนุรักษ์และสืบสานความหลากหลายทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชนต่างๆ ในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ คือ ส่งเสริมให้ทุกคนเข้าใจและมั่นใจแก่สมาชิกของแต่ละเผ่าพันธุ์ตนเอง เพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจและร่วมกันรณรงค์ให้ประชาชนและภาคชน โรงเรียนประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษา ปลูกจิตสำนึก ชี้ประเด็นให้เห็นให้เห็นถึงความสำคัญของเอกลักษณ์ของ


Community empowerment for capacity building and increasing competition of production management in wood furniture industrial group in Phetchabun Province aims to develop the capacity building process for competition and community empowerment and to increase the strength of wood furniture industrial group in Phetchabun Province. The researcher adopts critical paradigm as the major research paradigm. Then 2 supportive research paradigms are applied, including positivism and interpretivism paradigm. These paradigms help identifying research methodology which is the multimethodological model. These include documentary research, qualitative research, quantitative research and action research. The research found that training alone cannot increase group empowerment among wood furniture industrial group in Phetchabun Province. This study found that the 4 Stages Group Empowerment, carrying on via participatory learning appraisal (PLA) and focus group discussion are the two significant methods help increasing group empowerment. The first stage includes human resources preparation. This comprises 1) the searching for key persons; 2) preparing and designing form and content of knowledge for distribution; and 3) selection of knowledge distribution methods. The second stage includes identifying problems and development of alternative activities. This includes the study and analysis of problems, needs, the production and market chain of shallots; and 2) the development of alternative activities for solutions. The third stage includes the carrying on implementation. This includes 1) the development of process for organization and group management; 2) supportive participatory planning; 3) action and evaluation; 4) designing and system testing. The last stage includes expanding cooperative network. This includes 1) promotion and development of groups; 2) development civil society in terms of multi-cooperative partnership; and promotion of cooperative process for social responsibility.
