การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนและปฏิสัมพันธ์ในชั้นเรียนของนักศึกษา โดยใช้การเรียนแบบกลุ่มช่วยเรียนรายบุคคล วิชากายวิภาคและเสรีวิทยา การทดสอบก่อนเรียนวิชากายวิภาคและเสรีวิทยา ได้ทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนจากนักศึกษา 55 คน แสดงให้เห็นว่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยจากการทำแบบทดสอบก่อนเรียนเท่ากับ 21.0 ± 15.56 หลังจากเรียนด้วยการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนที่เน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญ ปัญหาที่พบมากเป็นอันดับที่ 1 คือ เรื่องระบบกล้ามเนื้อ ปัญหาที่พบมากเป็นอันดับที่ 2 คือ เรื่องระบบประสาท และปัญหาที่พบมากเป็นอันดับที่ 3 คือ เรื่องระบบไหลเวียน เมื่อทราบปัญหาที่พบแล้วได้แก้ไขปัญหาโดยให้โอกาสนักศึกษาได้ทำงานตามความสามารถจากแบบฝึกหรือกิจกรรมที่ผู้สอนเตรียมให้ และเน้นส่งเสริมความร่วมมือภายในกลุ่ม เป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ซึ่งกันและกันเป็นวิธีการทำงานร่วมกัน ผลเป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ว่านักศึกษาที่เรียนเก่งจะมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชากายวิภาคและเสรีวิทยาสูงกว่า นักศึกษาที่เรียนอ่อนและปานกลาง และการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ในชั้นเรียนของนักศึกษาช่วยให้ระบบผลการเรียนของนักศึกษาเฉลี่ยอยู่ในเกณฑ์ดี
