การวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ประทินผิวจากมะขาม (สบู่ก้อนมะขาม สบู่เหลวมะขาม และโลชันมะขาม) นำน้ำมะขามเปียกมาละลายน้ำกรอง แยกกากออกระเหยน้ำออกเก็บไว้ในตู้เย็นไว้ใช้ เตรียมสบู่ก้อนสบู่เหลว และโลชัน จากการสำรวจสบู่ก้อนพบว่า ในท้องตลาดมีการผลิตสบู่ก้อนมะขามหลายชนิด แต่ละชนิดมีราคาต่างๆ กันสบู่เหลวมะขามมีขายในท้องตลาดยังไม่แพร่หลาย จากเตรียมสบู่เหลวมะขามและศึกษาสมบัติของมะขามเหลวมะขามที่เตรียมขึ้น 4 สูตร แล้วศึกษาลักษณะทางกายภาพของสบู่เหลวมะขาม พบว่า สูตรพื้นฐานไม่แยกชั้น เมื่อเก็บไว้นาน โลชันมะขาม เมื่อนำมาศึกษาลักษณะพบว่า ลักษณะเนื้อของโลชันเนียนละเอียด สีขาว กลิ่นหอม ไม่มีการแยกชั้น โลชันไหลได้ดี ความรู้สึกเวลาทา ทาง่ายไม่เหนอะหนะ สูตรที่ 4 การใส่น้ำมะขามมากทำให้มีความเหนอะหนะบ้าง ซึมเข้าผิวได้ดี เมื่อนำไปทดลองกับอาสาสมัครแล้วตอบคำถามผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม พึงพอใจความซึมซับเข้าสู่ผิว สี กลิ่นของสูตรที่ 4 มากที่สุด ถ้ามีผลิตภัณฑ์วางจำหน่ายจะซื้อสูตรที่ 4 มากที่สุด ต้นทุนการผลิตโลชันมะขามรวมหลอดบรรจุพร้อมฉลาก ใช้เนื้อสารจำนวน 19 กรัมต่อหลอด 15.2 บาทต่อหลอด

This research aims to develop the cosmetic made from tamarinds (tamarind soap, tamarind liquid soap, tamarind lotion). Tamarind pulp is dissolved with water. The solution filter is used then left, evaporating and kept in refrigerator. The tamarind cosmetic is produced. On the survey, there are many kinds of tamarind soap in the market at different prices. The liquid soap made from tamarinds is not widely known. From the study of four different formulas of liquid soap, it is found that, when stored for a long time, the basic formula did not separate. Tamarind lotion are smooth, white, good scent, not separated, well drained. Feelings is not gooey but easy to apply. The fourth tamarind lotion which is made from more of tamarinds is gooey but can be absorbed to the skin well. When tested by volunteers who are then asked with used questionnaire, it is found that the fourth tamarind lotion has more market share than other kinds of tamarind lotion. The cost of production of the forth tamarind lotion is about 15.2 baht per unit (19 grams).
