This study investigated the effects of extraction methods and conditions on bioactive constituents and antioxidant capacity of black ginger (Kaempferia parviflora Wall. ex Baker) grown in Khek Noi Subdistrict, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province, and developed prototype skincare products. Soxhlet extraction was performed using ethanol, ethyl acetate, acetone, dichloromethane, and hexane. Probe-type ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) was conducted with 95% ethanol at 40 °C, 160 W, and 40 kHz for 15, 30, and 45 min. Total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), DPPH, ABTS, FRAP, and 5,7-dimethoxyflavone (DMF) by HPLC-DAD were evaluated. Ethanol gave the highest Soxhlet yield (9.99%), whereas 15-min UAE gave the highest UAE yield (13.93%). The Soxhlet ethanol extract had the highest TPC (61.36 ± 0.22 mg GAE/g extract), while acetone had the highest TFC (95.95 ± 1.30 mg CE/g extract). Within the UAE group, 45 min gave the highest TPC, TFC, and FRAP values (65.78 ± 0.15 mg GAE/g extract, 78.54 ± 0.35 mg CE/g extract, and 140.40 ± 2.71 mg TE/g extract, respectively), whereas 15 min gave the highest DPPH and ABTS values (41.11 ± 0.04 and 59.19 ± 0.09 mg TE/g extract). Dichloromethane contained the highest DMF content (267.79 ± 2.09 mg/g extract). Considering the overall analytical results and solvent suitability for product application, the ethanol extract was selected to formulate lotion, essence, and sleeping mask prototypes. Their pH values after 24 h were 6.23 ± 0.03, 5.59 ± 0.11, and 4.53 ± 0.02, respectively. All products received the highest level of satisfaction from 16 evaluators, with overall mean scores of 4.69 ± 0.08, 4.51 ± 0.16, and 4.46 ± 0.18, respectively. These findings support the potential use of ethanol-extracted black ginger in prototype skincare products.
