The research entitled “Development of Textile Products from Waste Moroheiya (Corchorus olitorius L.) Stem Fibers of Farmers in Phetchabun Province.” aimed to 1) develop yarn from Moroheiya stems, 2) study the physical properties of fabrics made from Moroheiya stem fibers, and 3) develop textile products from Moroheiya stem fibers. This research was conducted as research and development. Waste Moroheiya stems after harvesting from farmers in Phetchabun Province were used as the main raw material. The process included fresh bark stripping, retting, washing, drying, fiber carding, and developing blended yarn from Moroheiya fibers and cotton at a ratio of 30:70. The blended yarn was then woven into plain weave fabric and used to design bag-type textile products. The suitability of the product sketches was evaluated by experts. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The results showed that waste Moroheiya stems could be extracted into fibers. The fibers obtained after retting, washing, and drying were light yellow to cream in color, glossy, moderately strong, and had an average length of approximately 110–140 centimeters. When blended with cotton at a ratio of 30:70, the fibers could be spun into continuous blended yarn suitable for weaving. The developed fabric was a plain weave fabric with a width of approximately 60 centimeters and a length of approximately 300 centimeters. It had a natural color and surface texture that reflected the unique characteristics of plant fibers. The evaluation of product sketches showed that the most suitable product designs were the Top Handle Bag, with a mean score of 4.50; the Bucket Bag, with a mean score of 4.33; and the Wallet Phone Bag, with a mean score of 4.40. All selected designs were rated at the highest level of suitability. The findings indicate that waste Moroheiya stems can be practically developed into fibers, yarns, fabrics, and textile products. This provides a guideline for adding value to agricultural waste, reducing community waste, and promoting environmentally friendly textile products from natural fibers.
