งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งเน้นในเรื่องของการปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพในกระบวนการคัดและบรรจุพริกจินดาเขียว โดยศึกษาแต่ละสถานี ใช้เทคนิคการศึกษางาน (Work study) เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการขั้นตอนการทำงาน และกำจัดขั้นตอนที่ซ้ำซ้อนไม่ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ในกระบวนการคัดและบรรจุพริก ฉะนั้นในงานวิจัยนี้จะมุ่งปรับปรุงกระบวนการคัดและบรรจุพริกให้มีประสิทธิภาพการทำงานที่สูงขึ้น โดยลดขั้นตอนและลดเวลาในการทำงาน โดยใช้เทคนิคการตอบคำถาม 5W1H เพื่อช่วยวิเคราะห์กระบวนการทำงานโดยใช้ร่วมกับหลักการปรับปรุงงาน ECRS กำจัดงานที่ไม่จำเป็นระยะทางลดลงจาก 13 เมตร เหลือ 11 เมตร ลดระยะทางลงได้ 2 เมตร ลดลงได้ถึง 15.38% ประสิทธิภาพของกระบวนการคัดและบรรจุพริกเพิ่มขึ้น จากเดิมใช้เวลา 9 ชั่วโมง 11 นาที ลดเหลือ 7 ชั่วโมง 45 นาที ซึ่งลดเวลาได้วันละ 1 ชั่วโมง 25 นาที คิดเป็นร้อยละ 15.52%
