งานวิจัยนี้นำเสนอการวิจัยและพัฒนาเครื่องย้ำก้อนมะขามแบบคานให้ตัวได้เพื่องานบรรจุสำหรับผู้ประกอบการในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ดังนี้
เครื่องย้ำก้อนมะขามแบบคานให้ตัวได้ต้นแบบ ประกอบด้วย ชุดโครงสร้างเครื่อง ชุดสร้างกำลังอัด ชุดอัดก้อน ชุดแท่นขึ้นรูปก้อนมะขาม ชุดคานรองรับก้อนมะขาม ชุดควบคุมการทำงาน ชุดฝาครอบเครื่อง และชุดฐานรองรับตัวเครื่อง ผู้เชี่ยวชาญในการออกแบบและสร้างเครื่องและผู้ใช้งานเครื่องมีความคิดเห็นสอดคล้องกันคือ ความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ผลการทดสอบประสิทธิภาพการทำงาน ได้แก่ แรงดันลมที่เหมาะสม คือ 6 บาร์ ปริมาณการผลิต 20 ก้อน เวลาในการทำงาน 1.28 นาที ลักษณะของก้อนมะขามหลังการย้ำขนาดก้อนมะขามหลังขึ้นรูปเฉลี่ย 24 x 24.25 x 17.60 มิลลิเมตร เปอร์เซ็นการคืนตัวของกระดาษฟอยล์อลูมิเนียมที่ห่อก้อนมะขามคิดเป็นไม่เกินร้อยละ 10 เปอร์เซ็นต์
