งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการและจัดทำข้อมูลคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษเกี่ยวกับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรแบบสร้างสรรค์ ในตำบลหนองแม่นา อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ 2) เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรแบบสร้างสรรค์ โดยใช้ชุมชนเป็นฐานสำหรับยุวมัคคุเทศก์น้อยในตำบลหนองแม่นา อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ 3) เพื่อประเมินทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษของยุวมัคคุเทศก์น้อยในตำบลหนองแม่นา อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ โดยมีรูปแบบการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน (Mix Method Research) โดยสัมภาษณ์ผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียในชุมชน จำนวน 50 คน ได้แก่ ผู้ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร ผู้นำชุมชน ครู และนักเรียนที่ทำหน้าที่เป็นมัคคุเทศก์น้อยในชุมชน ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า ส่วนใหญ่ยุวมัคคุเทศก์น้อยมีปัญหาในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษทั้งด้านการฟัง พูด อ่าน และเขียน โดยมีความต้องการพัฒนาทักษะด้านคำศัพท์ การพูด และการสื่อสาร ชุมชนหนองแม่นามีศักยภาพด้านการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร มีสวนผลไม้แบบผสมผสานที่สามารถพัฒนาเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการท่องเที่ยว และต้องการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษใช้แนวทางการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ชุมชนเป็นฐาน โดยมีชุดคำศัพท์ ตัวอย่างประโยค และบทสนทนาเกี่ยวกับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร เน้นกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ในสวน เช่น การทักทายและต้อนรับ การแนะนำผลไม้ และกิจกรรมในสวน
นอกจากนี้ การประเมินทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษภายหลังการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของยุวมัคคุเทศก์น้อยในตำบลหนองแม่นา อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ พบว่า กลุ่มยุวมัคคุเทศก์น้อยมีความสามารถในการใช้ระดับคำศัพท์ และการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษระดับประโยคหลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
อยู่ในระดับมาก (M=3.95, S.D. = 0.22 และ M = 4.00, S.D. = 0.45) มีความมั่นใจในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารด้านการท่องเที่ยวมากขึ้น และมีความพร้อมในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการเป็นมัคคุเทศก์น้อยในชุมชน
This research aims to: 1) Study the needs and compile English vocabulary data related to creative agricultural tourism in Nong Mae Na Sub-district, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Provinceม 2) develop English skills for creative agricultural tourism using a community-based approach for young guides in Nong Mae Na Sub-district, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province, and 3) evaluate the English language skills of young guides in Nong Mae Na Sub-district, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province. The study employs a mixed-method research approach, interviewing 50 community stakeholders, including agricultural tourism operators, community leaders, teachers, and students serving as young guides in the community. Research findings reveal that most young guides face challenges in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. They express a need to develop vocabulary, speaking, and communication skills. Nong Mae Na community has the potential for agricultural tourism, with mixed fruit orchards that can be developed into English learning resources for tourism. The community desires to develop English skills using a community-based learning approach, focusing on vocabulary sets, sample sentences, and dialogues related to agricultural tourism. Learning activities emphasize orchard-based experiences such as greeting and welcoming visitors, introducing fruits, and orchard activities.
Furthermore, a study conducted in the Nong Mae Na, Khao Kho district, Phetchabun province, examined the English language proficiency of a group of junior tour guides. The study revealed that this group had a high level of vocabulary (M=3.95, S.D. = 0.22) and demonstrated a strong ability to construct sentences in English (M = 4.00, S.D. = 0.45). They displayed confidence in using English for tourist communication and expressed a willingness to use English in the community, even with a limited vocabulary.
