การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย 2) เพื่อศึกษาคุณภาพการติดสีบนผ้าจากกระบวนการย้อมด้วยเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย 3) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้บริโภคที่มีต่อพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมียและ 4) เพื่อถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย จากการศึกษากระบวนการสกัดสี และการย้อมผ้าจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมียพบว่า สามารถแบ่งขั้นตอนออกเป็น 3 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 การเตรียมวัตถุดิบสำหรับสกัดสี ซึ่งขั้นการเตรียมวัตถุดิบสำหรับสกัดสีย้อมผ้าจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ส่วน คือ ส่วนที่ 1 เตรียมเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย และส่วนที่ 2 การทำความสะอาดผ้าและเส้นใยสำหรับการย้อมสี ขั้นที่ 2 การเตรียมน้ำย้อม และขั้นสุดท้าย คือขั้นตอนที่ 3 กรรมวิธีการย้อม
ผลการวิเคราะห์คุณภาพการติดสี ที่ความคงทนของสีต่อแสง อยู่ในระดับ 3.5 สีเปลี่ยนแปลงพอสังเกตได้ ความคงทนของสีต่อการซัก อยู่ในระดับ 3.5 สีเปลี่ยนแปลงพอสังเกตได้ และระดับสีตกติด อยู่ในระดับ 4.5 สีตกติดเล็กน้อยจนไม่มีการตกติดของสี ความคงทนของสีต่อการขัดถู สีตกติดผ้าขาวในสภาพแห้งอยู่ในระดับ 4.0 สีตกติดเล็กน้อย และในสภาพเปียกอยู่ในระดับ 3.0 สีตกติดพอสังเกตได้ ความคงทนของสีต่อน้ำ อยู่ในระดับ 4.0 สีเปลี่ยนแปลงเล็กน้อย และระดับสีตกติด อยู่ในระดับ 4.5 สีตกติดเล็กน้อยจนไม่มีการตกติดของสี ความคงทนของสีต่อเหงื่อ อยู่ในระดับ 4.0 สีเปลี่ยนแปลงเล็กน้อย และระดับสีตกติด อยู่ในระดับ 4.5 สีตกติดเล็กน้อยจนไม่มีการตกติดของสี และความคงทนของสีต่อการซักแห้ง อยู่ในระดับ 4-5 สีเปลี่ยนแปลงเล็กน้อยจนถึงไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสี และระดับสีตกติด อยู่ในระดับ 4-5 สีตกติดเล็กน้อยจนไม่มีการตกติดของสี
จากศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้บริโภคที่มีต่อพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย 3 ผลิตภัณฑ์ ได้แก่ ผลิตภัณฑ์ถุงผ้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย (x̄ =4.33) ผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้าพันคอ/ผ้าคลุมไหล่มัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย มีความพึงพอใจในระดับมาก (x̄ =4.20) และผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้าเช็ดหน้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย (x̄ =4.19)
ผลการดำเนินการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกกะลาแมคคาเดเมีย และการเสริมสร้างรายได้ให้กับวิสาหกิจชุมชนกลุ่มผู้ผลิตและแปรรูปแมคคาเดเมีย อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ พบว่า สมาชิกวิสาหกิจชุมชนกลุ่มผู้ผลิตและแปรรูปแมคคาเดเมีย อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ สามารถทำชิ้นงานได้ และเข้าใจกระบวนการทุกขั้นตอน และยังสามารถคำนวณกำไรต้นทุน ตั้งราคาขายสินค้าได้ และสามารถประชาสัมพันธ์ผลิตภัณฑ์ของกลุ่ม เพื่อจำหน่ายได้
The objectives of this research were 1) to develop tie-dyed fabrics from macadamia shells, 2) to study the quality of dyeing on fabrics from macadamia shells dyeing process, and 3) to study satisfaction of consumers towards the development of tie-dyed fabrics from macadamia shells; and 4) to transfer the technology of developing tie-dyed fabrics from macadamia shells. From the study of the extraction process and fabric dyeing from macadamia shells found that reed process can be divided into 3 steps: Step 1: Preparation of raw materials for color extraction. The process of preparing raw materials for extracting dyes from macadamia shells is divided into 2 parts: Part 1 prepares macadamia shells and Part 2 Cleaning cloth and fibers for dyeing. 2nd preparation of the dye and final this is the 3rd step, the dyeing process.

From the study of consumer satisfaction towards the development of 3 products of tie-dyed fabric from macadamia shells, namely: tie-dyed fabric bags from macadamia shells (x̄ =4.33) scarves/cloth products.
