การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาฤทธิ์ของสมุนไพรที่ใช้ในการทำลูกประคบและฤทธิ์ในการบรรเทาอาการปวดและต้านการอักเสบของสมุนไพรที่ใช้ในการทำลูกประคบ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงเอกสาร โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สมุนไพรในลูกประคบที่มีฤทธิ์ในการบรรเทาอาการปวดและต้านการอักเสบ ได้แก่ ไพล ใบมะขาม ผิวมะกรูด ตะไคร้ การบูร และขมิ้นชัน สมุนไพรที่มีผลต่อระบบผิวหนัง ได้แก่ ใบส้มป่อยและใบมะขาม สมุนไพรแต่งกลิ่น ได้แก่ ขมิ้นชัน ตะไคร้ และการบูร สมุนไพรที่ช่วยเก็บความร้อนและนำตัวยาซึมลงสู่ผิวหนัง ได้แก่ เกลือเม็ด เมื่อนำมาประคบร่างกายจะช่วยบรรเทาอาการปวดและอักเสบ รักษาอาการทางผิวหนังบางชนิด และทำให้รู้สึกผ่อนคลาย ผลการวิจัยนี้สนับสนุนการใช้ลูกประคบสมุนไพรในการดูแลสุขภาพ และนำไปสู่การสนับสนุนการปลูกสมุนไพร การผลิตและพัฒนาประสิทธิภาพของลูกประคบ ดังนั้น ลูกประคบสมุนไพรจึงมีประโยชน์ทั้งในมิติการดูแลสุขภาพและมิติทางเศรษฐกิจ
This research was to study the effects of herbal compress ball and the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects of herbal compress ball. This is documentary research by reviewing secondary data. The study showed the herbs in the compress ball that have pain relief and anti-inflammatory properties include Zingiber cassumunar, Tamarindus indica, Citrus hystrix, Cymbopogon citratus, Cinnamomum camphora and Curcuma longa. Herbs that effect on skin system are Acacia concinna and Tamarindus indica. Aromatic herbs are Tamarindus indica, Cymbopogon citratus and Cinnamomum camphora. Salt retains heat and transports the herbs to the skin. When applied the compress ball on body, it can relieve pain and anti-inflammation, alleviate skin diseases, and increase good feeling. These results support the use of herbal compress ball in health care and lead to the support of herbal planting, production and efficiency development of herbal compress balls. Therefore, the herbal compress ball is useful in both health care and econometrics.
