การศึกษาโรคและอาการทางการแพทย์แผนไทยในคัมภีร์มุจฉาปักขันทิกาจากตำราเวชศาสตร์ฉบับหลวง รัชกาลที่ 5 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาโรคและอาการทางการแพทย์แผนไทยที่ปรากฏในคัมภีร์มุจฉาปักขันทิกาและศึกษาวิธีการรักษา การใช้ยาในการรักษา โดยรวบรวมโรคและอาการทางการแพทย์แผนไทยในคัมภีร์มุจฉาปักขันทิกา จากตำราเวชศาสตร์ฉบับหลวง รัชกาลที่ 5 จากนั้นกำหนดคำนิยามในการจัดกลุ่มของโรคและอาการทางการแพทย์แผนไทยที่ได้จากการศึกษาและรวบรวม สรุปจำนวนโรคและอาการพร้อมทั้งวิธีการรักษาที่ปรากฏในคัมภีร์มุจฉาปักขันธิกา ผลการศึกษาพบว่าโรคและอาการทางการแพทย์แผนไทยในคัมภีร์มุจฉาปักขันทิกาจากตำราเวชศาสตร์ฉบับหลวง รัชกาลที่ 5 มีจำนวน 26 โรค 7 อาการและ 112 วิธีการรักษา จากข้อมูลดังกล่าวสะท้อนให้เห็นว่าโรคและอาการทางการแพทย์แผนในคัมภีร์มุจฉาปักขันทิกาสามารถนำไปพัฒนาเป็นฐานข้อมูลในการวิจัยที่เกิดประโยชน์ทางด้านสาธารณสุขและเป็นทางเลือกในการดูแลสุขภาพแก่ประชาชนต่อไป
The study of diseases and symptoms of Thai traditional medicine in Mucha Pakkhantika scripture from the Royal Textbook of King Rama V. aimed to study diseases and symptoms of Thai traditional medicine that appearing in Mucha Pakkhantika scriptures, including methods of treatment and drug treatment used. The study method was collect data of diseases and symptoms from the scriptures, and classify diseases and symptoms by definitions. After that, summarize the number of diseases and symptoms including treatment methods obtained from grouping.
The results of the study showed that the diseases and symptoms of Thai traditional medicine in Mucha Pakkhantika scripture from the Royal Textbook of King Rama V were ๒๖ diseases, ๗ symptoms and ๑๑๒ methods of treatment.
The results showed that diseases and symptoms of Thai traditional medicine in Mucha Pakkhantika scripture can be developed into a research database that will benefit in public health as an alternative healthcare for people.
