งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาห้องปฏิบัติการวิจัยมาตรฐานสำหรับการวิจัยพื้นฐานและการวิจัยขั้นแนวหน้า ที่อยู่ภายใต้ความดูแลของศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบูรณ์ บนพื้นฐานของสมมติฐานว่า ความพร้อมและเพียงพอของห้องปฏิบัติการมาตรฐาน มีส่วนช่วยให้นักวิจัยทั้งภายในและนอกมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบูรณ์ สามารถยกระดับการวิจัยและทำให้สามารถผลิตผลงานวิจัยได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมทั้งสามารถดำเนินการวิจัยได้กว้างขวางและคล่องตัวยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ยังทำให้ศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์สามารถขยายขอบเขตการให้บริการสู่ชุมชนท้องถิ่นและชุมชนวิจัย และสามารถนำห้องปฏิบัติการเข้าสู่มาตรฐานความปลอดภัย (ESPReL) และมาตรฐาน ISO/IEC17025 ได้เร็วขึ้น โดยเฉพาะงานวิจัยทางด้านวัสดุศาสตร์ ดังนั้นกิจกรรมวิจัยในโครงการวิจัยนี้จึงมุ่งเตรียมความพร้อมและความเพียงพอของเครื่องมือวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์ รวมทั้งอุปกรณ์ความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงานในห้องปฏิบัติการวิจัย และเพิ่มพูนความพร้อมของนักวิทยาศาสตร์ด้วยการให้นักวิทยาศาสตร์ได้เข้ารับการอบรมในเรื่องของมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย มาตรฐานห้องปฏิบัติการ และทักษะการใช้เครื่องมือวิเคราะห์ที่ติดตั้งในห้องปฏิบัติการของศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์ ผลการวิจัยในส่วนของการเตรียมความพร้อมทางกายภาพ พบว่า ได้จัดหาเครื่องมือวิเคราะห์ทางวัสดุศาสตร์จำนวน 2 เครื่อง คือ เครื่องวิเคราะห์ผลึกด้วยการวิเคราะห์การเลี้ยวเบนรังสีเอกซ์ (X-ray diffractometer, XRD) แบบตั้งโต๊ะ และเครื่องวิเคราะห์สมบัติผิวของวัสดุ นอกจากนี้ได้จัดหาถังบรรจุไนโตรเจนเหลวและครุภัณฑ์ห้องปฏิบัติการ ถังไนโตรเจนเหลวถูกจัดหาไว้สำหรับใช้ในการวิจัยและการเตรียมตัวอย่าง ขณะที่ครุภัณฑ์ห้องปฏิบัติการใหม่ได้ถูกนำไปทดแทนครุภัณฑ์เดิมที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับคุณลักษณะทางกายภาพของห้องปฏิบัติการปลอดภัยตามแนวทาง ESPReL และช่วยลดความเสี่ยงที่เครื่องแก้วจะเสียหายด้วย นอกจากครุภัณฑ์ห้องปฏิบัติการ เครื่องมือวิเคราะห์และอุปกรณ์ที่จำเป็น ผู้วิจัยได้จัดหาวัสดุอุปกรณ์ป้องกันอันตรายประจำตัว เพื่อความปลอดภัยในการทำงานในห้องปฏิบัติการด้วย เช่น ถุงมือกันร้อน ถุงมือยาง เสื้อคลุม หน้ากาก และแว่นตา รองเท้าบูท เป็นต้น ในส่วนของการเตรียมความพร้อมบุคลากรประจำห้องปฏิบัติการของศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์ พบว่า นักวิทยาศาสตร์ของศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์ นักวิจัยและผู้ช่วยนักวิจัยได้เข้ารับการอบรมในหลักสูตรต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับการยกระดับมาตรฐานการวิเคราะห์และมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย เช่น การเตรียมตัวอย่างควบคุมสำหรับงานทดสอบอาหารด้านเคมี การตรวจสอบความใช้ได้ของวิธีทดสอบทางเคมี หลักสูตรมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยห้องปฏิบัติการ (ESPReL) การเสริมสร้างวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัยในองค์กร ด้วยพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัย BBS (Behavior Base Safety; BBS) และหลักสูตรอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ผลการเข้ารับการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการทำให้นักวิทยาศาสตร์ นักวิจัย และผู้ช่วยนักวิจัยมีความเข้าใจ มีทักษะและตระหนักถึงความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงานในห้องปฏิบัติการ รวมทั้งทำให้มีความพร้อมในการให้บริการตรวจวิเคราะห์มากขึ้นด้วย ในงานวิจัยนี้ผู้วิจัยได้จัดหาอุปกรณ์สำหรับการพัฒนามาตรฐานกระบวนการตรวจวิเคราะห์และเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมเข้าสู่มาตรฐาน ISO/IEC17025 ด้วย
This research aims to develop the standard research laboratory of Science Center, Faculty of Science and Technology, Phetchabun Rajabhat University, to support the basic and frontier researches as well as to take the laboratory to the safety standard, ESPReL. According to the hypothesis of readiness and sufficiency of devices and staffs in standard research laboratory help the researcher both inside and outside Phetchabun Rajabhat University to lift up the standard of their researches and can produce the research results continuously, as well as, enhance the extension and flexibility of their researches, especially on the material researches. Additionally, Science Center can enhance the service for local and research communities. Importantly, Science Center can faster take the laboratories to ESPReL and ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Consequently, research activities in this research project are get ready and make enough of analytic and synthetic devices as well as the safety devices in research laboratory. In addition to the procurement of devices, scientist, assistant researcher and researcher have to be trained in the topic of about the safety standard, laboratory standard and operational skill of devices installed in laboratory of Science Center, to increase the readiness. For output of the physical readiness preparation, two devices for material research analysis; benchtop X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and optical tensiometer, were procured and ready for research supporting. Besides, liquid nitrogen storage tank was provided for research and sample preparation. While the old durable laboratory articles which is not according to the ESPReL safety standard, were replaced with the new one. The replacement of old durable laboratory articles with a new one also decrease the risk of equipment breakage. In addition to required durable articles and devices for analysis and synthesis, personal protective equipment (PPE) such as heat resistant gloves, disposable gloves, gowns, masks, chemical protective goggles, boots and etc, were procured, as well. For the readiness of laboratory staffs in Science Center, scientists of Science Center, researchers and assistant researchers have been trained in different courses that was involved in the level up of the safety and analytical standards such as preparation of controlled sample for chemical food analysis, determination of validity of chemical testing method, standard of enhancement of safety practice of research laboratory (ESPReL), cultural enhancement of safety in organization by Behavior Base Safety (BBS) and etc. Results showed that scientist, researchers, and assistant researchers are gained their understanding, skill and realize in the importance of safety in laboratory working as well as lead to the extending of the service readiness. Procurement of equipment for development of analytical testing method according to the ISO/IEC17025 standard, was also conducted.
