การศึกษาคุณลักษณะทางแบคทีเรีย น้ำอุปโภคและบริโภคของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบูรณ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะทางแบคทีเรีย น้ำอุปโภคและบริโภคของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบูรณ์ และเปรียบเทียบปริมาณแบคทีเรียทั้งหมด โคลิฟอร์ม และอีโคไล และนำผลที่วัดได้เปรียบเทียบกับค่า มาตรฐานที่ยอมรับได้ในน้ำบริโภค กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์คุณลักษณะทางแบคทีเรีย ของแหล่งน้ำบริโภคและอุปโภค ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบูรณ์ โดยทำการสำรวจคุณภาพน้ำจำนวน 8 เดือน ในช่วงเดือน มกราคม – สิงหาคม 2563 วิเคราะห์หาค่าจุลินทรีย์ทั้งหมด โดยวิธี Standard plate count พบว่ามีค่าอยู่ระหว่าง 0 - 4.5x10³ CFU/ml ซึ่งพบว่าช่วงเดือนมกราคม กุมภาพันธ์ เมษายน มีค่าเกินมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณโคลิฟอร์มแบคทีเรีย และการตรวจหาปริมาณ อีโคไล พบว่ามีค่าอยู่ระหว่าง 0-700 MPN/100 ml ซึ่งพบว่าช่วงเดือนมกราคม กุมภาพันธ์ เมษายน พฤษภาคม และสิงหาคม มีค่าเกินมาตรฐาน จากการศึกษาคุณลักษณะทางแบคทีเรีย ในครั้งนี้สามารถบ่งบอกถึงความเป็นไปได้ที่น้ำ อาจจะได้รับการปนเปื่อนจากเชื่อ โรค อาจเนื่องจากกระบวนการและขั้น ตอนการผลิต ไม่สะอาดและไม่ถูกต้อง
