งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณภาพน้ำ และเพื่อสำรวจความหลากหลายของ แพลงก์ตอนพืชในอ่างเก็บน้ำรัตนัย อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ทำได้โดยการเก็บตัวอย่างน้ำและแพลงก์ตอนพืชในทุกฤดูกาลในรอบปี ฤดูกาลละ 1 ครั้ง ซึ่งจะเก็บข้อมูลคุณภาพน้ำ และเก็บแพลงก์ตอนพืชจำนวน 3 สถานี สถานีละ 2 ซ้ำ พบว่า คุณภาพน้ำในอ่างเก็บน้ำรัตนัย มีคุณภาพน้ำที่อยู่ในเกณฑ์มาตรฐานคุณภาพน้ำผิวดิน ประเภทที่ 2 ไม่พบปริมาณของสารโลหะหนักจำพวกแคดเมียมและตะกั่ว ส่วนชนิดแพลงก์ตอนพืชพบเป็นจำนวน 4 Division ได้แก่ Chlorophyta, Bacillariophyta, Cyanophyta และ Euglenophyta จำนวน 19 สกุล
ดังนั้น น้ำในอ่างเก็บน้ำรัตนัย อำเภอเขาค้อ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ สามารถนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ในการอุปโภค-บริโภคได้ เมื่อผ่านการฆ่าเชื้อบำบัดแล้ว หรือใช้ประโยชน์ทางการเกษตรกรรมได้
The objectives of this research were to study water quality and phytoplankton diversity of Rattanai Reservior Khaokho District, Petchabun Province. Collecting samples of water and phytoplankton in every season in the year, once a season. The samples were collected water quality and phytoplankton diversity from 3 stations and 2 replicates. The result showed that water quality of Rattanai Reservior in the standard for surface water quality Class 2. Not detected of Cadmium and Lead. 4 Division of phytoplankton were identified include Chlorophyta, Bacillariophyta, Cyanophyta and Euglenophyta, 19 genus.
Therefore, water in Rattanai Reservior Khaokho District, Petchabun Province. Can be used for consumption but must be sterilized, treated or can be used in agriculture.
