This research presents about the design of academic article poster. The purpose of this research was to learn the effect of color on the ability to memorize. And to develop a format to using graphic for academic article poster an appropriate and interesting. Using the test Text and images are classified by color tone. 3 warm colors include red, orange, yellow and 3 cool colors include blue, green, purple. Classified as the test of unspecified positions and specified positions. The results from the 135 samples showed that the blue color affects the ability to memorize text and images both in unspecified positions and specified positions. From the satisfaction survey by five topics, the topics with the highest satisfaction level were font color is appropriate and the illustrations are appropriate. The average was 4.45. The overall satisfaction level was at a high level. The average was 4.41. The standard deviation was 0.80. The results of this research are consistent with the research hypothesis that text, images and positioning using cold colors have the effect of ability on the memorize than warm colors.
