การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการสอนเพื่อการสื่อสารด้วยวิธีการสอนแบบตรงและวิธีการสอนหลากหลายเทคนิค กลุ่มเป้าหมายของการวิจัยได้แก่ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 สาขาวิชาการจัดการทรัพยากรมนุษย์ และสาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมการผลิตและการจัดการ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 สาขาวิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ และสาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบูรณ์ จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งเลือกโดยเจาะจง (Purposive Selection) เครื่องมือในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารด้วยวิธีการสอนแบบตรงและวิธีการสอนหลากหลายเทคนิค มี 3 รายด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านคำศัพท์ ด้านสะกดคำ และด้านแต่งประโยคภาษาอังกฤษ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
การเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารด้วยวิธีการสอนแบบตรงและวิธีการสอนหลากหลายเทคนิค โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณารายด้านทั้ง 3 ด้าน พบว่า มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือด้านคำศัพท์ รองลงมาได้แก่ ด้านสะกดคำ และแต่งประโยคภาษาอังกฤษ
The purpose of this research was to do a comparative study of students’ communicative English ability by using instructions of direct method and multiple-technique methods. The samples in this research were 40 students at Phetchabun Rajabhat university. They studied in the first year namely Human resources major and Engineering production and management major, and they studied in the third year namely Computer sciences major and Environmental sciences major by purposive selection technique. The instrument used for collecting the data was a questionnaire on a comparative study of students’ communicative English ability by using instructions of direct methods and multiple-technique methods. There were three manners namely wrote the vocabularies, spelled the words and made the sentences. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard derivation.
The results showed that:
The comparison of students’ communicative English ability by using instructions of direct methods and multiple-techniques method showed results at a high level. When considered by three aspects, they were at a high level in the vocabularies, the repressive words and the composed sentences respectively.
