การพัฒนาระบบผู้เชี่ยวชาญการเกษตรด้านพืชที่สำคัญของจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นเนื่องจากผู้จัดทำวิจัยได้เล็งเห็นถึงปัญหา และความสำคัญของโรคพืช ที่นับเป็นปัญหาหลักของเกษตรกร และผู้ที่สนใจในการเพาะปลูก ตลอดจนนักวิชาการด้านโรคพืชที่ต้องเผชิญอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้
ระบบดังกล่าวได้ถูกออกแบบและพัฒนาขึ้น เพื่อช่วยเหลือ และตอบสนองความต้องการ ในการแก้ไขปัญหาข้างต้น โดยระบบสามารถเพิ่มเติมข้อมูล แก้ไขข้อมูล หรือลบข้อมูลโรคพืช สามารถค้นหาข้อมูลโรคพืชโดยชื่อโรคพืช หรือโดยการเปรียบเทียบอาการของโรค
ซึ่งมีวิธีดำเนินการจัดทำวิจัยตามลำดับดังนี้ ทำการศึกษาและเก็บรวบรวมตัวอย่างข้อมูลโรคพืช วิเคราะห์ระบบ ออกแบบระบบ พัฒนาโปรแกรม และทำการทดสอบระบบ โดยเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการพัฒนาระบบผู้เชี่ยวชาญการเกษตรด้านพืชที่สำคัญของจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ได้แก่ Active Server Page (ASP) VBScript JavaScript และระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูล Microsoft Access ซึ่งมีผลการดำเนินงาน และประสิทธิภาพของโปรแกรมอยู่ในเกณฑ์ดีมาก

This research has an objective. 1) To prepare the lesson Community On the development of local knowledge 2) Development Expert System. Using Qualitative Research. The CD database preparation plant and documentation of medicinal plants consisted of Name plant, photo, name Kingdom, Scientific name and benefits. 1.3) Dissemination Publicity Local wisdom Resources Phetchabun. By establishing local learning centers. In order to disseminate knowledge the benefit of interested parties and serve as a source of learning Environmental education. The introduction of plant utilization Used as medicine And conservation of medicinal plants in order to achieve sustainability. 2) Development Expert System. This system has been designed and developed for solve the problem by collecting the information about plant disease. It can insert, modify, delete and search the information of plant disease. The name of plant disease can be used for searching its information more over the information and name of plant disease can be founded by plant of symptom. The steps of development in Expert system about plant disease can be follow by study and collecting the plant disease information, analysis, design, programming development and testing. The development tools are Active Server Page (ASP), VBScript, JavaScript and the database management system tool is Microsof Access. This system provides high efficiency and high efficiency.
