The objectives of this survey study were to investigate: 1) Attitude of communities around Phetchabun Rajabhat University toward Phetchabun Rajabhat University; and 2) a guideline for Phetchabun Rajabhat University development. This study was based on the following five aspects: image, social, economic, arts and cultural, and environmental. Results of the study revealed the following:
1) The respondents had a high level of attitude with the surrounding communities around Phetchabun Rajabhat University ( x = 3.65 ). This was based on the university image, economic, arts and cultural, environmental, and social, respectively.
2) The respondents had a high level of their opinions on the image of Phetchabun Rajabhat University ( x = 3.94 ). The following were found at a high level: 1) famous of Phetchabun Rajabhat University education teacher graduates; 2) teaching staff having the capability on research and instruction; 3) the university having the source of knowledge for developing local; 4) research results could be applied for social problem solving; and 5) quality of Phetchabun Rajabhat University graduates, respectively.
3) The difference in sex, age, educational, occupation, income, community of the respondents, and service contact had no difference on an effect of an average mean score of attitude and impacts on image, social, economic, arts and cultural, and environmental.
