งานวิจัยนี้นำเสนอการพัฒนาผ้าแพรลายไส้ปลาไหล โดยใช้ทฤษฎีสี กรณีกลุ่มทอผ้าชุมชน คุณธรรมวัดศรีสองคร อำเภอหล่มสัก จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการได้แก่ 1) เพื่อศึกษาทฤษฎีสีในการจับกลุ่มสีผ้าแพรลายไส้ปลาไหล โดยใช้สีและเส้นใยธรรมชาติ 2)เพื่อออกแบบและพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์จากผ้าแพรลายไส้ปลาไหล และ 3) เพื่อถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์จากผ้าแพรม้าลายไส้ปลาไหล โดยศึกษาทฤษฎีสีในการจับกลุ่มสีผ้าแพรลายไส้ปลาไหล โดยใช้สีและเส้นใยธรรมชาติ โดยการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มทอผ้าชุมชนคุณธรรมวัด-ศรีสองคร การทอผ้าแพรส่วนใหญ่จะใช้สีไม่เกิน 3 สี โดยกลุ่มจะใช้สีแดง สีม่วงน้ำเงิน สีขาวและสีน้ำตาลทำผ้าแพรลายไส้ปลาไหลทำให้ได้กลุ่มสีที่ไม่สวยงาม และไม่สามารถต่อยอดไปสู่กระบวนการขายในตลาดปัจจุบันได้ ผู้วิจัยได้มีการนำ Color Image Scale มาประยุกต์ใช้ ในการจับกลุ่มสี ได้มา 36 กลุ่มสี สอบถามกลุ่มผู้บริโภค พบว่าผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามมีความมีความชื่นชอบในกลุ่มสีโทนเย็นเป็นส่วนมากที่สุด โดยเลือกสองอับดับที่มีค่าความถี่สูงที่สุดมาจัดทำผ้าแพรลายไส้ปลาไหล คือ แบบที่ 1 และ 4 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 23 และร้อยละ 19 นำมาทอเป็นผ้าสีใหม่ นำผ้าที่ได้มาออกแบบและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์จากผ้าแพรไหลปลาไหลเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ 5 คือ ตุ๊กตาสาวนุ่งซิ่น กระเป๋าพวงใส่พวงกุญแจ กระเป๋าใส่เงินเหรียญ หมวก และพัด นำการออกแบบที่ได้ให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญเลือกแบบที่เหมาะสมที่สุด มาผลิตผลิตภัณฑ์และประเมินความพึงพอใจของละแต่ผลิตภัณฑ์ พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความพึงพอใจต่อผลิตภัณฑ์จากผ้าลายไส้ปลาไหลสีใหม่จากธรรมชาติมากที่สุด มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.29 ความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด มากกว่าผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้าลายไส้ปลาไหลสีเดิม มีค่าเฉลี่ย 3.98 ความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก ในทุกผลิตภัณฑ์สามารถนำมาทำเป็นสินค้าเพื่อจำหน่ายได้จริง
