How to Apply (for Thailand-side PIs)Please complete the joint application form and Thai application form above and submit them via NRIIS system. This system is the designated platform for Thailand-side PIs to submit their forms. - Both applicants, Thailand-side and Japan-side PIs, must prepare an identical proposal, which they must then submit to NRIIS from the Thailand-side PI and to JST from the Japan-side PI, respectively.
- The Thailand-side PI must also submit another Thai application form through the online NRIIS platform (https://nriis.go.th).
- The project must have the researchers from Thailand at least 2 institutes or universities to cooperate with.
- Both PIs must ensure no differences in the content of the proposals submitted to PMU-B and JST. Submitting all required documents to both PMU-B and JST by the deadline is crucial, as failure to do so will result in the proposal not being accepted.
- Proposals only with the joint application forms above will be accepted.
- The proposal topic must directly address the topic outlined in the call for proposals (PMU-B).
- The budget must stay within the specified limits.
- Researchers from each participating institution in Thailand must have a Letter of Support (LOS) from their home institution, signed by an authorized representative of the institution/organization (P.S. The format and content of LOS forms can vary from one institution to another. Please contact your institution for guidance on completing their LOS form)
- The Thai project leader’s institute must endorse the submission in the NRIIS system by 12:00pm (THA) on September 26, 2025.
